3. This is not veterinary advice

Nothing on this site is veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here is a substitute for examining your dog. Articles are general information written for a general readership. Your dog's age, breed, weight, history and current medication all change what is appropriate, and none of that is knowable from a web page.

Always consult a qualified veterinary surgeon before changing your dog's diet, starting or stopping a medication or supplement, or acting on anything you read here. Never delay seeking veterinary attention, or disregard advice you have been given in person, because of something published on this site.

If your dog is in distress, has collapsed, is struggling to breathe, is bleeding heavily, has a suspected bloat or twisted stomach, or may have eaten something toxic, contact an emergency veterinary service immediately rather than searching for information. In an emergency, minutes matter more than research.

Dosages, toxic quantities, symptoms and treatment guidance vary between countries, change as veterinary understanding advances, and depend on the individual animal. We make no warranty that any figure or recommendation on this site is current, complete or applicable to your dog.

4. Editorial content and accuracy

Articles are researched from published veterinary and animal-welfare sources and are written to be accurate at the time of publication. Veterinary guidance changes, and errors are possible in any publication. We do not warrant that content is complete, current or free from error.

If you find something wrong, tell us at contact@dogfollowers.com. Substantive corrections are made openly rather than deleted quietly.

5. Intellectual property

Photography is licensed from third parties and remains the property of the respective photographers and licensors. It is not licensed for you to reuse.

You may read, print and share individual articles for your own personal, non-commercial use, and quote short extracts with a clear credit and a working link. You may not republish articles in whole or in substantial part, use this content to train machine learning models, or scrape the site systematically, without written permission.

6. Acceptable use

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country.
